Who is Insurance Strategy?
Insurance Strategy was established in 1983 to build long-term client relationships based on mutual trust and commitment to service.
We offer our clients products ranging from individual life insurance, disability insurance, long-term care insurance, and medical insurance along with Medicare Supplements and Advantage plans. These benefits are sponsored by professional companies with extensive experience and dedication to our industry’s standard.
We also provide group insurance for companies wanting to provide benefits for their employees to offer a feeling of security for themselves and family members with medical and ancillary benefits. It’s extremely important for companies to appreciate the value of their employees.
Who is Infinity Trust?
Infinity Trust was originally established in 1992 to help employers provided benefits for their retirees. A company must sponsor the program for their employee who is going to be retiring.
This is a Medicare Supplement product which may be purchased with or without prescription benefits (Part D). In 1998, we expanded Infinity Trust by adding a nationwide stand-alone vision product underwritten by Vision Service Plan (VSP).
We offer 10 specially designed plans companies from which to choose. This allows employers to best meet both their employees' and their family’s vision needs. It may be written on a voluntary or contributory basis. We offer benefits for as few as 2 employees, or this product may also be written on an individual basis .
Lisa R. Yanak
A native of Cleveland, Ohio residing in Parma, Ohio, Lisa opened Insurance Strategy, Inc. with her father Clayton W. Rooy in 1981 and the business was incorporated in 1983. She has been a licensed agent since 1989 and is the President of Insurance Strategy, Inc.
In 1995, she was Certified in Business Insurance and in 1999 received her Life Underwriting Trained Council Fellowship (LUTCF) designation.
Lisa is a member of NEOHUA, OAHU, NAHU and NAIFA. She participates in required continuing education classes. She is also licensed to sell Medicare and Long-Term Care insurance. Lisa is married with 2 children.
Leslie C. James
Leslie is the lead Sales Agent at Insurance Strategy, Inc. (ISI) and Infinity Trust. Leslie has 30+ years of experience in the insurance industry. She is the Vice President of Insurance Strategy (ISI). She holds a license as an agent in the State of Ohio for health and life insurance. She is also certified for Medicare sales.
She graduated with an AA in Business – Marketing from Cuyahoga Community College. She continues to study and learn through continuing education classes offered in the industry.She is also working on several certifications from the National Association of Health Underwriters.
Leslie has been a proud member of NEOHUA, OAHU and NAHU for over 10 years. She has held various committee positions and was a trustee for our organization for 6 year before moving up to be part of the Executive Board.This is a 5-year commitment where she has served as Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President and President.
The principal and founder of Insurance Strategy, Inc, which was opened in July of 1983. Clayton brought more than 40 years of experience in the group health and executive benefit arenas. He established the Infinity Trust in 1992, with a group senior medical insurance plan that is marketed nationally.
Clayton was a member of the Northeast Ohio Health Underwriters Association and past president. He was honored by the group in October of 2008, when he received their first ever, Distinguished Service Award for Exceptional Leadership and Commitment to Excellence. Clayton also served on the group’s legislative council for more than 25 years. While Legislative Chair of the Ohio Association of Health Underwriters, the activities of the committee were recognized as the best by the National Association of Health Underwriters. He also served as Business Insurance Instructor for the Life Underwriting Training Council for 17 years.
Clayton’s experience and knowledge established a firm foundation for our company. He always put the customer first by providing excellent customer service and making sure the benefits offered to the client fit all their insurance needs both on a personal and professional level.
